Rosewood Gothic Bookcase c.1890

Fine quality late 19th.c. rosewood bookcase c.1890. Two door bookcase with glazed upper panels and blind storage below. Fitted inside with four adjustable shelves. Unusual design with extensive Gothic detail. Moulded cornice over a frieze of pointed arches with brass mounts within. Decorative pierced brass strap and beautiful inlaid door panels featuring a design of armour and weapons in contrasting timbers. Flanked with architectural faux columns to each side descending to carved hoof feet. Oak lined interior, shelves and back panel. Excellent colour and condition. Cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Key supplied.
