Ebonised Settee c.1880

Superb quality late 19th.c. ebonised hardwood settee c.1880. Padded backrest with a lovely carved and pierced ribbon garland at the centre of the top rail. Open ends with turned and fluted arms with acanthus leaf terminals over a deep sprung seat. Raised on six turned and fluted column legs joined with two sets of shaped and moulded X stretchers with turned finials at the centres. Excellent condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops, ready for reupholstery.
